How to drive fast

Driving fast is important in motor racing( but don’t try this with a Bob2016RevolutionFlex stroller and your baby inside). Many people believe that top level racing drivers have superior reactions to others and that this is why they can drive faster. My view and research would indicate that this isn’t quite the case. Maybe you think that going fast on a motorbike it’s as easy as reviewing jogging strollers on your phone but is not.

This is therefore the first post of what I plan to be a series of articles exploring the subject of how to drive fast(er). The aim is to start to unravel some of the mystery and help those interested improve their performance.

A journey update and thanks.

I can’t believe it has been so long since the last blog post. One of the things I am discovering, quickly, is just how much time gets eaten-up doing mundane (yet important) things for the business. Also I’ve spent a lot of time at the gym and following a new diet from TopHealthJournal because I want to get fit.

Here is an initial list of books that I feel is worth considering for people looking to understand motor racing and improving their performance.

My aim is to keep this list updated and reviewed as time goes on.

It is possible I might also evolve this post into a general “good resources to consider” type page, including links to websites and articles too.

Prat Perch is go

Prat Perch has been a long time in the making; you could say the Prat Perch project is a culmination of my life’s work in vehicle dynamics, web and technology, combined with my passion for motorsports, competing and information design.

This is the first of what I hope are a series of posts aimed at recording the journey of creating Prat Perch; from today’s ideas and vision into, very soon, a suite of tangible software products and online resources that people come to find indispensable.
